    The first time I ever tried Diddy Riese was when I was 10 years old. Fast forward to many, many years later and this place is still around and good as I remembered it. It's the perfect grab and go for dessert.

    Diddy Riese is a must-visit for any LA foodie! Their white chocolate chip cookies are simply the best. Soft and chewy, they're the perfect balance of sweetness. I love that they're still reasonably priced ($1.25 each), making it easy to indulge without breaking the bank. I also tried their ice cream sandwiches, which were equally delicious. The cookies are fresh and the ice cream is creamy. It's the perfect treat for a hot day.

It wasn't until 1995 where they started being known throughout LA for their custom ice cream sandwiches made with their cookies. You can choose one of their 10 freshly bake cookies and 12 flavors of ice cream to make your ice cream sandwich. They are a popular among UCLA students, tourists and LA residents alike. What we ordered: -Hawaiian Shaved Ice (Watermelon, Strawberry and Watermelon) $4 -Chocolate Chip Cookies with Butter Pecan Ice Cream Sandwich $5 -Chocolate White Chocolate with Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream Sandwich $5 The price of one cookie is $.75. Three for $2.25. Half Dozen for $4.50 and Diddy Dozen costs $8. I preferred my chocolate chip with butter pecan ice cream. Our son ordered a Hawaiian Shave Ice with strawberry, watermelon and orange flavors. The shaved ice was very good. Everything we ordered were delicious. We will definitely be back. They are closed on Mondays. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
